This is an example of why I use the terms "pseudo ADHD" and "correctly diagnosed ADHD" Obviously, for those who have the symptoms, it is still not pleasant. borntoexplore.org/whatisadd.htm

I found that article irritating. The author seems to imply that a diagnosis of ADHD only meets modern criteria and therefore doesn't meet his own preconceptions of what ADHD is. I feel awkward with the diagnostic criteria myself - I have family members that obviously have ADHD but aren't impaired enough to score a diagnosis; that bothers ME (and THAT'S important ) so I'm a bit stuck with my own prejudices. Hypocracy? It's not on my list of things that keep me awake
