Saw this while looking at Anti-histamine as help me sleep like a dream: Would be interested in what the intresting people think or know about this one if anyone does: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Histamine_antagonistExperimental: H3- and H4-receptor antagonists These are experimental agents and do not yet have a defined clinical use, although a number of drugs are currently in human trials. H3-antagonists have a stimulant and nootropic effect, and are being investigated for the treatment of conditions such as ADHD, Alzheimer's Disease, and schizophrenia, whereas H4-antagonists appear to have an immunomodulatory role and are being investigated as antiinflammatory and analgesic drugs. [edit] H3-receptor antagonists Main article: H3 antagonist

Possibly a link here with the theory that links allergies (mainly food allergies) and an overstimulated immune system with opiate peptides (insufficiently broken down food that has a drug-like effect on the brain) via leaky gut syndrome.
Many people with ADHD, Autism etc., have a number of food allergies due to an oversensitised immune system.
Right, chili on the go, gotta go!

hi Safe
i haven't had a chance to read your links yet, but from what i know, Modafinil works via a histamic response in the hypothalamus, which is similar to what you're describing.
