What can you do if a company/entity does not fulfil its obligation to guarantee disabled people an interview for a job? I understand this obligation is in accordance with the DDA and to not fulfil this obligation seems like they are just showing a blatent disregard for the equal opportunites crap they spout at us all day long. Dont get me wrong, if they didnt want for the job then fair enough but dont lie to me about guaranteeing me an interview.n And why should they need this two ticks scheme crap anyway. They shouldnt have to come up with some phoney scheme to combat the discrimination. Just fucking fine them if they are caught at it. Hang 'em up I say, Hang em up!!
Granted, the entity in my case is the NHS so I am barking up a tree with this but surely they should be fulfilling their promises and obligations.

Couldn't agree more, I am horrified they didn't interview you. I don't know the legal stuff sorry.

Thanks Tremont. I kinda knew this stuff anyway. Im just pissed about not getting an interview when they said they would gimme one. Even if they had got me in, nodded a few times as I rambled and said Byeeee then I would appreciate they have someone better (most likely someone from in the hospital already). It just means I am not going to trust these things again and just go and be myself at interviews. Cant be bothered going to Tribunals. I have complained though to the OPC or whoever they are and the NHS.
