Anxiety can potentially stop you living your life as it paraysles you with fear. I wake up with racing heart and mind everyday worrying about things. I was on anxiety meds for years every different one out didnt work (now i know why) The only thing i can do is keep busy. As life is somthing you cant control or plan for. So have to do what can and if plans go tits up as often do, you have deal with them there and then then move on.

i still get anxiety sometimes, used to have it really badly, kept thinking i couldnt breathe, panicked when i was trying to swallow food or a drink, felt like i was being strangled or couldnt breathe, basically didnt think id wake up if i went to sleep!! distraction was definately the best way to cope, had to find something to physically do!
sometimes now when i get anxious and i need to sleep (whuch isnt as often thank god) i used to read about it, just to reassure myself that i wasnt going mad!!
