Here is a link to a terribly vague site about the new computer and internet access grants for kids in school years 3-9. www.homeaccess.org.uk/Comet appear to be one of the package providers. I can't find restrictions in their small print but have read that they are for those with an income below £16,ooo ish? Perhaps someone else knows more about it? I'm guessing they are only for people without an existing computer/net access. Which prob isn't you if you are reading this lol, but you might know someone who'd benefit? Not sure but think they are limiting the number of grants to 270,000 countrywide.
