I assume that my constant dreaming is down to the active mind of the Adder, I assume the crazy and imaginat content is also part of the ADD
Do you all have this similar problem.
I often think my dream life is a lot more hard work than the real deal lol

hi CGG I dream every night two or three or even more. mostly it's related to my head sorting itself out quite often solutions to problems appear some mornings I wake up absolutely worn out because i've been dreaming and dreaming and dreaming.....
there was a stage in my life when I stopped dreaming. I was totally stressed and ended up with a nervous breakdown(what is the modern day term for this?) at that time I had totally no access to my memory. It was as if my brain was supressing everything in order for me to survive. thanks to a young gp I came through it. I started dreaming again then and it was mainly linked to memories of my past life.
It was about that time I realised I had the most amazing strategy I'd ever had. there were two of me one was a boosy boots who protected my more sensitive self( didn't know about adhd then)
my dreams now are more general but always with grains of truth in them

I can't remember them all but I used to write them down.............before they faded. Of course, most times, I did not have paper or pen and they just faded.
I have a feeling that the one's that I remember are usually at the tail end of a sleep, otherwise forget it.

I am always scared of my dreams cos they r so vivid but always kinda make sense of parts of my life... 2 yrs ago I had a breakdown and I had stopped dreaming at the time, but now I am back on track I hv another life when I got to sleep! Now I know it's my brain helping me out I won't let it worry me so much! Thanks x

I do. More and more often, I actually wake up and see what I've been dreaming about for a few seconds too. My GP reckons I've got a sleep problem so he is sending me too see a sleep specialist. I've never slept through a whole night either, maybe sleep apnea the GP says or I think Narcolepsy because of seeing my dreams which can be scary at times. I can shut my eyes and be half awake too but start dreaming within seconds. If I have to get up very early too it makes me I'll. No wonder I've been tired for years, no proper sleep for thirty years is bound to make you feel bad lol.

I dream a lot, but there's a difference between that and super vivid crystal clear dreams that stick with me after I'm awake. Often I wake up and it's already fading.
It also depends whether I'm paying attention. For a while I decided I wanted to dream more, or remember my dreams, so I tried writing down my dreams when I woke up like people tell you to. Within days I was dreaming vividly at great length every single night. Unfortunately I was also spending about an hour writing before I could even get dressed and go get breakfast, so I had to stop before it got out of hand!

I don't tend to dream often. It has been reported that I can have conversations with people in my sleep! My sister (who I think also has ADD) has a terrible time of sleeping (nightmares mostly). There have been times when she's been comforted by me and I have absolutely no memory of it in the morning! My husband was rather surprised a few years ago when one night I sat bolt upright eyes open and declared "She wasn't having any fun". On further questioning with the answer always being that sentence he told me to go back to sleep. On hearing that I settled back down again and carried on sleeping. I also believe I have mild restless legs syndrome, but this affects my other half more than I as I kick him awake. Ex boyfriends have confirmed this was the case with them as well. Best excuse I've heard to get a kingsize Sent from my GT-I9000 using proboards

I can recall my dreams every morning. I quite often (weekly) dont know i have fell asleep so its still me laying in bed. ITS AWFUL..horrible noises...floating...bright colours and i think its real... :-( Other ones are vivid but at least i know i am dreaming. I put it down to not getting enough sleep amd vivid dreams are because we have a lot of information to process but in a shorter time..if ya get me?

Yep, every night.. Always very vivid, sometimes disturbing, sometimes very random. Also prone to sleepwalking

I dream every night an all through the night. No matter when I wake up I am aware I have been dreaming. I used to sleep
walk and once went outside. Once I thought my husband was a cow and tried to calve him!
