Is there a helpline locally (or try Samaritans of the mind helpline 9-5 weekdays) Or can you get an urgent apt with your gp? If you regularly see a psychiatrist do you have a number to make an appointment between usual apts, or the crisis team number? You need to talk to someone who can help between appointments.

I'm so sorry you are feeling bad just now leedsdale. I'd agree with astraka's suggestions for not sticking it out on your own but call for professional help, whether from a crisis number or the samaritans. and don't hesitate to reach out to someone who knows you well to ask for support, even if it's just company to hang out with so you are not on your own. once you have got through the weekend you could call your GP, it may be quicker to get an appt with GP than with psych. it could be that how you are feeling now is a side effect of the medication, which can cause a paradoxical depression. whatever it is, it can get sorted out. hang on in there, this will pass.
