I can't post links so if you want to read the details you can check out the BBC article-
But the UN have now concluded their investigation into UK discrimination of people with disabilities. They found that the UK (under dc government) are the first country to violate the convention on the rights of people with disabilities. Some point were that bed room tax unfairly discriminates against people who need the extra room for reasons relating to their disabiliaty and that the media continually portrays us as lazy, fakers, scroungers etc
Havn't seen anything happen because of it though....

There's not a huge amount in the press about it, like no one cares.
I have 'dared' to say that elsewhere & been shot down by pEppleby saying everyone experiences discrimination etc - yet the un chose to focus only on dis a bled human rights violations & it's not ok to acknowledge that or talk about it.

I know why it's not covered, just disgusted.
But there seems no outrage from disability groups either, no petitions, swept under the carpet on forums.
I am often finding hidden disabilities target for disabilism from those with visable disabilities - divide and conquer working well.
