I know, I know, the Doctor will know. But... You know, you know, I'd like to know right now. I've been on Elvanse for 4 months (30 for a month and then 60s) and for the last two weeks I have been noticeably tapping my teeth. I looked out a diagnostic site(I recently had a partial colonectomy for cancer, so everything out of the ordinary is now AUTOMATICALLY CANCER! even though I am officially free and clear) and the one that struck me was Amphetamine use and, blow me, I'm on those. I always thought side affects would come on quick, considering that they don't stay in the body long. So can they come on after months? It's not a deal breaker for the medicine, but i wonder if other side effects might come on.

I developed bruxism whilst on elvanse/dex and I still clench my teeth in my sleep two years after giving it up.

Thank you so much for sharing! I have the same issue, with the same medication!!!!
Yet, I had bruxism already. Ironically, probably caused by the stress and frustration of living with undiagnosed ADHD for decades. My teeth were damaged, so a wonderful dentist made for me a nice and comfortable teeth guard to use at night. No issue using it - if at all, it supposes to reduce snoring too. That was eons ago. NHS picked it up later, and Guy's dental hospital supplied the next one. Not easy to get them to see you and deal with it - and God help you if you need a new one, but .... it was free.
HOWEVER, once starting taking Elvanse, after a couple of months, I noticed I am clenching my teeth DAYTIME. This causes a lot of problems: teeth damage (which I have no money to repair after forking so much on ADHD diagnosis and medication ...), and worse - jaw pain, earache, headache...
Not giving up on Elvanse - but good to get confirmation it is indeed the cause. I am trying to fight the problem by awareness (sticking my tounge between my teeth when I feel i am doing it). Mixed results so far. Any further comments/ideas are welcome.
