Could I just ask, if anybody obsessess over pretty muchanything that interests them?. I have gone through life jumping from one to another. Many of which not being good. Sport, different sports, woman, work, drugs, people and pretty much anything that I can enjoy.

Yup! It's called hyperfocus. . .
. . .total obsession which gets dropped as soon as something more interesting comes along. . .
although I do have a few that endure, but I think they're more part of my autistic traits. .
ie. Postcodes, interesting (probably annoying and random) 'facts' about a range of subjects

Yeah, it's different from true obsession though it can look and feel very similar (especially at the beginning of relationships), but as the other poster says, the difference is that every time you are out of the 'range of the attractor' there is a chance that the hyperfocus will break while true obsession is unlikely to.

That answers a lot of pretty much everything iv done. Although most things I thought I was addicted to were not very good things, exciting, but not good. I could drop them for another thing in a flash. Such a relief to get some clarity on this, but slighty worrying as I have urges to do them again as I enjoy being in the "obsession", hyperfocus. Them things will certainly ruin the good things in my life...
Should I search for other things, good things? I am worried I will go back to my old ways...
Thanks
