I'm probably not the only person to suggest this, but how about forming an informal support/coaching ring?
I know my own life is chaotic, but I take comfort from another area of my life. When I write most things on the PC, I have to edit about 60 times because I can't see all my own errors at once, but when I look at the writing of others, all the errors pop out like neon.
So maybe the same is true of other parts of life and for other people too?
Is anyone interested?
We'd probably start off tentatively, being text based. I know a lot of us are vulnerable so I wouldn't want us all sharing telephone numbers or even email right away, if ever. I know there are issues with this, but let's see if we can't break those down and overcome them rather than not moving for fear of the issues.

I'm a huge believer in achieving 'Belonging' in as many domains as possible, as per Maslow's Hierarchy of Needs. It's essential for happiness, IMHO. What have you got in mind?

I just tried to PM you my mobile but it says I can only send messages to staff members. Perhaps I've ticked the wrong box somewhere.
Will try and figure it out later.

I'm think of a spreadsheet on that thingy web program who's name escapes me.
It would have to be:
Anonymous: We'd go off user names. No phone or email swapping. This is because:
No Agony Aunting: This would be entirely for 'practical' help. For example, You have an appointment, a due date or a target. You put it on the diary. if you don't edit it on the day before/early the day of the appointment/due/target, then you send a message on these boards to remind them. We don't want to risk giving bad or even harmful advice and plenty of places offer that kind of help anyway.
Free: naturally
Still Ultimately Your Responsibility: We can chivvy and remind, but if you miss the appt, it's still yours to own.
That's what I'm thinking so far.

I've developed a loose confederation of ADD friends/fellow travellers - and we've said that we must do it.... set up a mentoring service. (then we remember that we all have ADHD and that it is never going to get beyond the wouldn't it be great stage!
