Does anyone (or has anyone) used the CBD Oils that you can buy legally in the UK for their ADHD or perhapos pain management, etc?
I'm looking for some advice on using it, e.g. could you get it prescribed by your Doctor for chronic pain?
I've looked aorund online and they are oils, tablets, differring strengths too, and it's a bit confusing, I'd really like some impartial advice for myself and for my wife who has chronic pain illnesses.
I used to be a heavy smoker and will not smoke or vape anything as my lungs are quite weak, but these legal cannabis oils seem to be growing in popularity and I don't know anyone who uses it.

I've been using CBD oil since November and I certainly think it helps a little - my 0-100mph is definitely longer when I've had the oil and I do feel a lot calmer. I originally researched/bought CBD for my dog's epilepsy and have done quite a bit of reading on the subject and you're right, it can be very confusing! And there are an awful lot of utter crap oils out there. My favourite oil is NuLeaf which I order from the States (fully legal in UK). It's one of the highest quality oils on the market and has extensive lab reports (most brands don't have this). I've recently had a bottle of SimplyCBD Black which is a UK product and gets good reviews but tbh I thought it was cheap and nasty compared to the NuLeaf. Try it and see! Good luck

How do you use it? I have chronic pain and am also an ex smoker and for various reasons can't risk taking cannabis the old fashioned way I'd like to try the oil through.

Personally I take it via drops under the tongue (let it hang around for a minute or so and swallow). It gets absorbed quicker than direct swallowing as more is absorbed prior to reaching the stomach. Some people vape it but I've not tried that method yet. Also some people (including my other half) find that it tastes vile so mix it with juices etc. I never tried wheatgrass shots when they were popular years ago but CBD oil tastes very much how I imagine wheatgrass would lol. As mentioned just don't go buying any old oil on the high street, buy one online which has been recommended and ideally published lab reports - this is a sign of continuous quality and very few brands publish them. Even if you have no interest in reading the reports at least you know you've bought from a quality and transparent company BOF

I would genuinely very interested to see how you get on In addition to the dog having it for epilepsy and myself taking it, my parents are also giving it to their elderly and arthritic cat who's also responding very, very well to it so seems to be a winner at the mo lol. If it was the NuLeaf you ordered then it typically takes 7-8 days from ordering to arrive at my front door. Keep us informed on it BOF

boxoffrogs I have downed a shot of wheatgrass in the past. For something that's meant to be good for me..... it didn't make me feel good. Or healthy. Or even virtuous
