I like the plug and the idea of product design/ invetion, nice one Andy.
If was going to be my usual critical self i would say doesnt look very robust plastic gets brital with age bit of a niche product like when is the size of a plug really a problem.
One that i do think is good is my kids flight bag a "trunki" like a small plastic suitcase that they can sit on with wheels and ocupy them selves when your plane is delayed or you have long queues to wait in the strap even turns into a rope to pull them along with. You got me all dysoned up now Andy LOL

Oh yeah the trunkies are great. I am not clear with that plug how the wires attach inside it. I would worry that the twisting would be a bit of a likely failure point for the wires in it. But its certainly time to look again at its design.

If you watched the vid, the creator was very calm and specific about the design, everything just seems to fit.
I reckon it's been researched very efficiently, not like the trunkies where duncan bannatyne, on the dragon's den, comicly ripped off the strap attachment, as the man was saying how secure they were............. "I'm out, I'm out, I'm out" "I want you to know where I stand...........on your head, O buffoon designer who probably forget to put his shirt on this morning."
Disclaimer....The opinions contained in my post are the product of my warped sense of reality. What this means, is that nothing I say should be taken as fact.
Seriously, though, I reckon we will see it fitted by default in a short time, subject to financial opposition/patent issues.
It is radical enough to be fully patentable.

Andy
Im off to my shed now with some old electrical motors lights and double sided tape see you in 2020 with a way to keep your sausage fresh in the fridge did you see that on dragons den what a joke it was just like a small plastic cup genius and the guy got told no and he was adament it was a good idea.
I dont like plug im heavy handed and always break things if they arent well made and looks flimsy to me. I went on me dads boat other month and as soon as steped on managed to split the step was going off a bank that was higher but if am around needs to be bullet proof.
