Right where do i start?
Just moved area(15 miles) to be closer to eldest dd's senior school, family nearer & conveniend for future senior schools etc...
Our new local Junior school, (religeous criterea & catchement met) is full..Mum worked there many years so know it well & was looking forward to my youngest 3 attending..
Anyway, no-joy, so my ds is attending a school about 5 miles away& my middle dd is still at her school 15 miles away, so legistic nightmare..My oldest is okay, sorting herself out on bus...
The stress of getting to two schools is causing me untold anxiety..My dd at the school 15 miles away has diagnosed adhd, & is very sensitive, so i didn't want to change her til i got a permenant place if that makes sense? So letting her go to b'fast club & sharing lifts etc..
Anyway, son has settled in beautifully in temp. school 5 miles from home..This is wonderful for us to see as he has his own difficulties & was very unhappy at school before. It now raises the question; should we try to leave him there for his best interests.
Now, my dd won't get into that school (3rd on waiting list), as we're not officially catchment, but, is top of the waiting list for the local school, so just sitting tight waiting to see what happens..
In an ideal world, i would be happy to send her to son's school, to at least have them all in one place, thus reducing the inconvenience of getting 2 kids to school at same time 5 miles apart ..
If you can get what i am trying to explain, & you're still with me i appreciate this, a friend has said i should speak to my gp to discuss the stress this is causing me?? Not sure it will help, & i don't like the idea of using low-level disability as an excuse to jump waiting lists at schools tbh...
Just don't know what to do, but feel so desperate & low..do i just accept they will be at different schools or try to get dd in to sons'?? Plus i have a 2yr old, can't get her booked into a pre-school until this is resolved..dirving me nuts!!
thanks x
