Me too to a degree... Certainly got me to sort a few things in my life, held a job down since starting meds and generally life makes a hell of a lot more sense... So yeah I am in a much better place since being diagnosed at 37 last October !! X

Depressed and suicidal last June, when I had to go sick from work oao a third bout of work-related stress and anxiety/burnout. Couldn't see how I could change enough to make life bearable. Worked out I had ADHD, found this place a week or so later, and dx in April this year aged 49.
Better? Yes...but I still have ADHD. It's ok most of the times, but it's not perfect.
