as the title says is it getting easier for add suffers to get Dx and get there meds without trouble from the pharmacy
im only going from my own experiance and from a few other posts here but change does seem to be slowly happening, i mean it wasnt perfect in my case the bare minimum so far infact (meds from an non speacilist and off you go) ill be going back in 6 weeks so im early into my dx and more may happen then, but it was a much better experiance than my last attempt a couple of years ago and though i have moved but only 10 miles or did i get lucky with this mht

Good question. I can't say because i didn't go through the NHS and like it or not, that makes a big difference. It isn't fair, but neither is the rest of life! I wonder if the education of GPs and society in general is like a tipping point, and once education has painfully and slowly reached a certain number education then snowballs, and progress is then made much more quickly?

i think it still comes down to a postcode lottery. where i am, there seems to be a pretty good provision and awareness for adult adhd, with my referral being offered via my sons diagnosing psych, (as a matter of course and not implemented because of the nice guidelines). but i can see from other peoples stories on here that this really does seem to be the exception rather than the rule, sadly so
