Who else has received the invite letter to be part of a mood monitoring project for those who get diagnosed with ADHD at the maudsley.
I turned it down because the thought of going to london more than I had to was enough to simply put me off.
For those who have not received it...
About 2 months I received the letter.
Its all about monitoring mood instability, irritabilityetc etc using a device and measuring systems whilst at the clinic but also whilst away via a device that asks some questions every so often.
I quote " Many individuals who come to the adult adhd service at the south london and maudsley nhs trust (slam) tell ust that they suffer mood problems, unstable mood, frustration and irritiabilty and mood swings..... yeah, I can tick all of those LOL
I wonder if it will ever be that severe mood issues actually are a CAUSE of adhd, ie you can't do much if your mind flips out for silly things, even like dropping a paperclip or something.
Anyway, who's received the letter.
