No - we're just too apathetic to reply I think ODD is one of those things that is only diagnosed in kids - in adults you're just stroppy! Joking aside - I looked into this and found that I didn't have ODD but something very similar (I've forgotten what it's called : which is essentially the same thing with some of the bells and whistles moved around. ODD is much easier to remember so I tell ppl I have that. Allright? ;D

Hahaha fuckin terrible. The swines even cook it for double the time so the food is burnt to a crisp and the gravy is now just a browny stain on the paper tray lmao. Ah well never mind. And I have been sorting my life out Dave buddy. Painting and decorating my house, nearly finished now. Oh and sorting out a tenant etc. Have a job interview over the next few days for a job in Malaga and I think I will be going in the next few weeks. Ive basically had no internet, phone or car for a couple of months, nightmare. Thankfully I will be away soon to pastures afresh and everybody can piss off Hows things mate?

I think to some extent I suffer from ODD symptoms. At least to tell me I have to do something because the boss want me to do it or the client needs it really does not motivate me - indeed it has the opposite. But rather than throwing tantrums or arguming I just siltently don't do what I am meant to do. I know somewon also with ADHD that has it worse than me.
Sorry about the late reply - because of my eye problems I havent been visiting here much...

I have been doing some research around ODD and there are a lot of misdiagnosed children whom it turns out have ASD and not ODD ! My son has ADHD ODD and the outcome of a so called assessment for ASD (which was flagged up by parent partnership at a school meeting) he is said to have some OCD tendencies !! ?? Having spoken to another parent from SOS/SEN this is not uncommon as her son was diagnosed with ADHD ODD AND OCD and they had to fight for an ASD assessment which they eventually managed and it turns out that their son HAS ASD NOT ODD !! Our so called assessment was done by PROFESSIONALS FROM THE MAUDSLEY so my sons psychiatrist thinks that this is set in stone ! Have you looked at the AUTISTIC questionnaires to see if maybe thats where the answer lies ?

Maudsley people said they only do ADHD differential, suspected ASD requires specialist evaluation. (I was evaluated at Maudsley in May 2010 - suspected ASD ) Going back for ADHD working...something or other tests at some point

Hahahaha, normally I would agree lol but Im a much nicer person out here cos I dont need to "fit in" or become an outcast for being different. Although Im not going to be able to stop my imulses lol. Its just that it takes me more time to realise what someone has said to me here. Hahaha. Thats what we should all do, go somewhere they speak a different language (Scotland woukd do for most of you lol) and then you have to stop and think before acting. I hadnt thought of that before.

I suspect the Spanish are more tolerant of 'boisterous' behaviour too - but you do raise the valid point that ADHD is emphasised by external influences and expectations.
And I bet it's not peeing down there either ;D

Have you looked at the AUTISTIC questionnaires to see if maybe thats where the answer lies ? what's the differential? I would in brief say that I'm defiant because I find other people 'uninformed or misinformed', slaves to propaganda and society. Some people have said I seem a bit big headed (others call me a genius or savant), though I don't think I'm that smart at all, just that I don't have the emotional nature of others and so by definition I'm more rational and somewhat challenging. hardly surprising then that I know things in-depth and don't pick topics that others always find interesting (or tolerable). They do exactly the same thing to me, talking crap for hours on end, not caring that I don't really give a toss, except for picking apart the underlining psychosis of the crap that they are talking.
