I've asked lots of questions and written FAAAAAAAAr to much stuff on here but I can't remember if I ever asked about micro-time management.
Ie. Lets say, you have 10-15 mins wait for food to be cooked/or destroyed or even someone is coming to pick you up in 20 mins.
I find it difficult not to pace the kitchen looking for either foods, but I'm not sure if this is because I think I will leave the food and come back to it 2 hours later and a burned cooking utensil or if it's just my way........
Or I find it difficult waiting.... I could probably always find something that will take longer than 15 mins (20 less 5 mins to be ready for them instead of being phoned and text abused for not being ready)
Any thoughts.

I know what you mean. The times I have tried to cook a pizza that takes 10 minutes and it ends up as a charred disc. As soon as it is out of sight, I forget that there was ever anything in the oven. I think staying in the kitchen is quite important, or using a timer that you can wear is another good one. I have thought about timers that you can set, and when you set them you speak into them and so when they go off they say "get the pizza out of the oven". Because sometimes I will hear a beeping or ringing and will have forgotten what it's all about. The other day, I had set an alarm on my phone to remind me about an important thing I had to do. I was trying to work, and then heard an annoying beeping and thought it was a lorry reversing outside and was getting really angry about the noise, and it turned out it was my phone! That is terrible. In the mornings when I wake up I think "What on earth is that funny noise" and it is my alarm. Just at the moment I am finding it very difficult to do anything that you have to leave and return to. I think the talking timer would be good, I'm going to have to try to get one. gb
