Just tried to read IM not lazy crzy stupid. I found myself skipping huge chunks and even tho I finished the book it was to me overwhelming. HOw can the authors who have adhd themselves write a informative book and then forget that most of us find it a struggle to read it.
My thoughts are im not going to attempt to read this again unless on meds. IS there anybook out there that is not 100s of pages long that jumps from a to b and that i might actually read it properly.
I was dissapointed with this book and wouldnt recommend it
Ive got Driven to Distraction on its way to me so will see how that goes
And if anyone else has read this I would aprreciate your take on this

Driven to Distraction is a 'booky' book so you might find it a difficult read.
Well worth the effort if you can though.

Hi, it says on the board you're female so I'm recommending a book, a brilliant book, called Understanding Women With ADHD by Nadeau and Quinn. You probably wouldn't be able to read it all in one go, it's a big book, but it's set out in clear sections and each section is set out into specific bite size chunks. So you can just dip into it as and when you need to so have the mind to. The book covers a broad range of subjects, and looks at how ADHD affects women specifically. It's a fabulous book and made so much more sense to me than any other book I've read. It's available on Amazon and I'm sure you will find it a huge help. X
