You start doing anything, the long way.
You know its the longer way, but because the other way has some longer processes/steps, though more efficient, you take the easy, but longer way out.
Such lethargy, but the time vampire gets you.

I sort of get what you mean I think? Like mowing my lawn I got a mower, extension lead, but to drag all that shit out I would love a petrol strimmer even though it may make a bigger job for me! it would be more fun

can't say i can think of any examples for this, nothing immediately comes to mind for me like 'yes, that is me!' but i definitely always utilise what i think is the easiest way. regardless of whether it's the best way.

I'm almost the opposite - apart from the bit where it takes longer - that bit's the same! I'm never under any illusion that the way I'm going to go about something will save time, but feel that things have to be done a certain way or they'll not be done properly or get completed at all. It still always turns out to be the wrong the way though - This links with your other thread I guess. Where you keep on going down a path with something probably knowing at the back of your mind that it's wrong, but doggedly keep on going, because if you just keep at it, it'll work eventually and then you'll prove everyone wrong of course (or just end up looking shame-faced again - or is that just me? )
