i have been seen at collingwood court for two years now - ive tried two different types of meds wich have no effect - dr mishra also diagnosed me with A.S.P.D and since he left the other nurses i see basically have pushed this to one side im now going to try concerta instead of risperidone and atamoxetine as the side effects were terrible atamoxetine made me very anxious and aggressive and the risperidone totally wiped out my sex drive and made me slaver when talking and alot of weight gain aswell i would like to attend your group but was wondering if anyone from the shiremoor/whitley bay area would mind picking me up for petrol money as the metro and bus is a big no for my i was taken to hospital on friday in an ambulance because i had a massive panick attack on the bus

Hi Nicolaad123 and Michael North
Nicolaad123, sorry for not seeing your post in May.
Yes the group still meets. Third Monday of the month, Collingwood Court (Conference room to the right of the main door) 6.30-9pm. Michael North, sorry to hear about your panic attack; sadly panic attacks are not uncommon for people with ADHD, especially where the symptoms of ADHD/anxiety are not adequately managed. I might be able to pick you up at some point, or certainly drop you off, but it won't be tonight or next month.I do appreciate how frightening it must be to have such a panic attack and can understand your worries about getting on public transport. However, if you can get along tonight, I can certainly drop you back home.

Hi. i was just browsing and found this forum. I currently live in a rural area of Scotland and was diagnosed with add in April this year. I am moving back to newcastle in a few weeks which was where i grew up, and was wondering whether it would be possible to attend one of your meetings and also what services are like for adults with add in the area? Have a Fab psych here, but obviously won't be keeping him. don't know anyone else with add and it would be good to meet up with others in a similar situation.
