Thanks for pointing this out - we've put it on the front page of the main site: aadduk.org/A

I hope it is okay - I have changed the name of the topic to (hopefully) get a few more people to read the post. I have also added the links to the very first post (you know what we're like - we may not read all the way down!)
I think this may be a very important broadcast for the public understanding of adult ADHD. It isn't just that some celebrity is publicly identified as having ADHD but the whole programme is about it.

I have moved this message from the item in the Famous People thread. At last an intelligent programme that looks at children and adult adhd conditions and doesn't just say that the adult condition is just a continuation of childhood symptoms. Congratulations to Rory Bremner and Avril Sinclair for publicly saying that they have adult ADHD. I am looking forward to listening on Monday night. The item in the Edinburgh Evening news is well written too. edinburghnews.scotsman.com/featur....d-is.6771496.jp

The programme was better than I expected. It was interesting to hear Gary because someone I talked to at ADDISS a few weeks ago suggested I give him a ring. I keep meaning to but haven't got round to it yet. He sounds great.
Just a thought: if anybody wants a copy of Bremner's show and doesn't want to use the BBC i player, I've just recorded it and I could email them an mp3; or if it's appropriate, I could send it to the admin on here so it could be made available as a download?

What is very frustrating is that the BBC gives links to ADHD related web sites but doesn't include www.aadduk.org (which, of course, leads to this forum) Does anyone know who we contact at the Beeb to get listed? A

I listened on iplayer last night but it would be good to have it as an mp3 - I don't suppose they'll keep it on the site for too long...

Does anyone have contact details for Gary the support group he runs? Is it the one we already have listed or another?

Gary killed his website (ADHDers eh?). He runs WAADDSUP - it's every third Wednesday in Liverpool ishNext meeting 25th May in the evening at St Catherines hospital Phone 07854 325 653 for details I've been a couple of times - well worth it. Nope - it's definitely out of date - they got a room at the hospital. Other details are correct.
