He is into scientology and they have all sorts of interesting beliefs and generally deny the existence of mental health problems. That article is basically biased rubbish from a religious group with their own agenda. There is a fair amount of physical manifestation of adhd like brain scans which show clear differences.

ADHD has been reported through history but there was plenty of things for ADHDers to do and no schooling so hyperactive kids weren't much of a problem.
Now that we have psychiatry and everyone has to fit a tiny box in society ADHD has become a big problem and there is profit to be made from manufacturing medication.
So there is a case for criticising big pharma for exploitation but even more for having a go at doctors that take their guidance from non medical books.
A completely free press is fine until idiots get a turn at spouting bollox - be careful when you read.
