This is something that drives me crazy-er from time to time (mentally)
In 1999, when on dialupgrrrrrrrrrrr (18MB download per hour.....) I started suffering some feeling of spinal ailment. I felt more limited in motion, although I thought to myself maybe it was just lack of exercise. At the time I had a cd based encyclopedia and looked up many subjects.
I looked at arthritis types, rheumatoid, ankylosing spondlylitis, osteo etc but no further. My conclusion was that I did not seem to have enough symptoms to be arthritic.
12 years on, I still don't have enough symptoms, in my opinion.
I'm not a doctor visiting type person, as one sneer from them is enough to put me off, or to erm get a little bit agitated, I'm sure you know the sort of thing..........
During the 12 years I've suffered some stupid back injuries, due to rash, spontaneous behaviour.
Rather than having suffered the injuries due to the trauma, I'm tempted to say that I'm predisposed or more vulnerable to the damage that can be caused, as other people don't seem to suffer the same way.
I feel that I can't load my spine much at all, say 50KG barbell is enough to give me serious delayed onset pains, twingy/nervy etc. (usually next day and lasting about 3-5 days, in rare events, maybe 14 days)
It sounds silly, but I feel that my discs are perhaps somewhat thinned or already structurally damaged, although I have no idea why.
Also, I have symmetrical, that is both arms, hands and elbows issues of
carpal tunnel, guyon canal and cubital tunnel syndrome.

None are harsh enough to be given a diagnosis, but are a bit impairing as holding screwdrivers or hammers leads to shocking feelings sometimes, or a burning dull ache, whilst gripping.
Leaning on palms, looking out of a window creates a dull burning ache up to shoulders etc.
Lengthy post, but there is not a short version.
I'm off to do some web questing to see what I can turn up.
When I see any pro weightlifters lifting/squatting 200/300KG roundabouts I know that my spine would just fold upon seeing that, if it had eyes........
Anyway. any knowledge would be appreciated.
