Not wholly new to me as my sister also has ADD, but am feeling a little frightened (due to unknown) but a little relieved as well, (she was diagnosed in adulthood too). Am a UK Citizen, but living abroad as expat for work in a very small community so not sure what support I have locally. Going back to the Doctor on Friday for more tests and IQ examination??!! Feeling a little over whelmed.....

Hello Mermaid That's an odd way to do things - usually you have the tests before being diagnosed. How does it work where you are?

Isn't an IQ test to do with aspergers or autism? Perhaps they're looking at co-morbids? Just an idea mind you - don't go getting in a panic. I was once wrong before you know (1998 it was...)

Hehe, yes it lightens my day too!! Hmmm....online IQs! Cool! We could be the 'interesting' offshoot of MENSA! Lol! If anyone finds a free online 'what should I do when (if) I grow up' test that'd be good too!

I didn't need a test. My genius must have been apparent....

Oh 18mg Concerta not Ritalin - got confused and only after speaking with sister did I get it clear about what had been prescribed. Day one and been at times a little surreal day, some good some developmental. Right now feel a little on edge. Could be because I have left dinner till late, which is something i don't normally do!
Does anyone else out there, second guess their thoughts/feelings and try to work them out constantly???
