anyone else just not like wearing them? I dont mean wanting to go naked all the time, but I would live in my PJs all day if I could! They are soo comfy and I actually feel safer in them - if thats possible?? I hate having to think about what I am wearing, and wether i will be judged on it, adn whether it fits me, or its clean, so pj's are the best option all round lol! I dont know why, but I count down the time till its a "reasonable" time to put my pjs on!! I also use my 5 yr old as an excuse "oh come on mummy will put her pjs on as well" lol.

Funnily enough, I think this has come up before! Might have been raised in connection with hypersensitivity/touch/textures people like/dislike...

"Why are you inside the duvet cover, cakedreams?" "It feels nice in here!"
Happens a lot! Yet strangely, can't stand sleeping bags... I like the feel of the empty duvet cover, hiding right inside it (even over my head).
If I'm moving around, I'd prefer to be in tight dancewear. If I'm sitting down, pyjamas. Today, I managed to combine both while I exercised and it may be the perfect clothes-avoiding combination!

I think I just see getting dressed as another chore to be put off at all costs, so unless I have to leave the house, I'm probably not getting dressed!

I like my bed, but once I am up its straight in the shower and dressed. I must admit I do not like labels, loops or anything hanging from my clothing. I do like to get into comfy clothing when I get home from work.

I hate cuffs. I always roll sleeves up - I just hate that constrictive feeling around my wrists. I'm not too good with collars either.

I lost enough weight recently to get into all the nice kit I'd hung on to in hope...and I junked it all. What looked good in the 90s on a 30-odd year old just didn't work any more. Get real. Get rid.

I'm a regular trackie bottoms and t-shirt merchant. I hate suits and collar and tie just bewilders me. Is it smart? ... or just plain mad. They say we're different but the existence of suit / collar / tie prooves that I am sane and all the 9 to 53ers need their heads examined.

i would live in my trackkie bottoms/t shirt/fleece combo if I could! But saying that I feel very "scruffy" if I do go out in them! So its a catch 22 situation. I actually feel better/more confident in a nice dress, heels etc, but yet i cant wait to get them off so I can feel more comfy!!

Lol - my b/f just pointed at me and said you could have posted that! I live in trackie bottoms and tshirt/sweatshirt/fleece when I'm staying at home, but feel too scruffy to wear it outside. Sometimes I just swap the trackie bottoms for jeans if I need to pop out. I also hate labels/loops, seams, certain materials... Also should clear out my wardrobe - it fills 1.5 wardrobes, 3 large suitcases and several plastic crates, and I've put on weight lately so some of it won't fit/won't look good any more... I tend to wear the same few things then get bored and buy more! I love short tshirt-material dresses over leggings/skinny jeans but am waiting for the weather to warm up enough to wear them...

I wear loose, primarily cotton, clothing at home. I make more of an effort to look professional when going to school, teaching, or presenting at conferences. Then I wear skirts and blazers, but the skirts are full bodied so I can freely move or even run. I never wear heels. In fact, I don't even own a pair. If I can get away with it, I often wear my all-black leather Princess Reeboks. They don't look so obviously like sneakers (trainers), have decent grip for man-made surfaces, breathe really well, and are comfortable to walk extensively or run briefly in. If I don't wear those (I have several pairs!), I have a pair of black dress sandals or light gold slip-ons--both basically flat. In "nice" clothes, I still prefer cotton, linen, or silk, but some synthetics are OK if they're not tight. My biggest problem is leotards/tights. I can't seem to tolerate nylons for more than a few hours. Do you know how hard it is to find high-cotton content leotards for adults in anything other than black/navy/white and not looking like something someone knitted? It's hard! Bras and panties are cotton with Lycra too.

I'm the same! I have a wardrobe full of clothes yet cycle through 2-3 pairs of jeans, a few pairs of shorts and a couple of tops. There my comfortable clothes ha.
