On Saturday 28th Julyat The Crocky Trailnear Chester The plan - we get together in a big open area where we can be as ADHD as we like - it's encouraged. All welcome - kids, parents, adult ADHDers, dogs with ADHD (bring poo bags), granny just pack the lot in the car and get on down there. It's a cross between rides, slides, squirting water, open space and a mile long obstacle course, I've been before and had a right laugh. And that was without meeting plenty of ADHDers. Rendezvous near the huge wire man (HUGE) for a picnic between 12 and 2 I'll bring a big colourful umbrella so you know who to look for. So Pack the kids, granny, picnic, picnic blanket and wife, go back into the house for the kids =D, lock the door, drive 5 miles and go back for the kids, wife, picnic etc who are now locked in the house - we know what you're like. Unfortunately you have to pay to get in but it's a lot of fun and you're liable to run into a lot of ADHDers. If you forget the picnic they sell ice cream and stuff here's a link www.crockytrail.co.uk/index.php

Guys, it's getting to the point where I need to decide whether or not to take my daughter (11) along to this. Is anyone else planning to bring a kid?

I might be bringing Alex that I care for on occasion (but he is 19 now I think! - primarily autistic, but has ADHD too)
It looks like I will have one spare seat in the car too if anyone needs picking up on the way from South Cumbria to Chester.

if you look up here -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------^^^^
Use that green quote button on the reply that you would like to quote.
(I just realised that you will only see the arrown in the correct position if your screen is the same resolution as mine... oh well.)

;D take your waders! It's a bit like T in the Park this year - my son was so looking forward to it - and he's used to camping in the rain at rock festivals (he's Scottish after all!) but even he was defeated by the amount of mud - and the DJ tent getting washed away put the tin hat lid on it! (as my friend would say). After one night of camping he texted and asked me to pick him up a day early......

Bump - it's this Saturday.
I still have one (maybe two) spare seats in the car if anyone lives (roughy) on the way from South Cumbria to Chester.
