Hi Everyone,
Has anyone ever had neurofeedback and would you recommend it?

Haven't seen anyone saying how it worked for them. I don't believe it ever does.

It used to be scorned by the establishment but recent research is more positive.
I know that biofeedback games can help ADHD kids learn to concentrate for longer so the general principal appears sound.
And it's definitely not going to do you any harm (unlike medication side effects).
I'd give it a go.

Love to give it a go, please do keep me posted Who is LANC ooohshiny? I am finding HRV biofeedback really positive, just under £200 a machine, and around £250 for a four week course. Low income discounts available. I will be providing this training towards the end of the summer to give me more time to do test cases with ADD. Feel free to volunteer but even if you are being a free trial, you still need to rent (or buy) a machine. £100-120 deposit, 20pwk rent. Which can easily be arranged. I absolutely love it, among all my other meditation, and mindfulness practices But desperately wanna get into neurofeedback! Both to have a go on the 256probe qEEG assesment in 3D, and do biofeedbackwith that (very expensive kit), I dont think my diagnosis will be standard, cant wait to see all the different types, and I really wanna do a meditation study, not to mention biofeedback in high res And then also have a go on the little portable four probe biofeedback machines, under a £1000 with just one probe, is the cheapest I have found so far, suitable for producing the work of the 70s to the 90s (i could list the main practitioners if you like, but I am most interested in Cade and Wise at the mo) There is also the more advanced 10/20 neurofeedback ones in the mid range which sound interesting but pretty expensive kit Might have to set up a group, but if anyone can find out ways we can help take part in studies or pay for sessions, please please please let me know
