Dear Sir/ Madam,
We are currently conducting a market research study on behalf of Adelphi UK on the topic of ADHD and would greatly appreciate your valuable input.
We are looking to speak with patients who have been diagnosed with ADHD. The overall aim of this study is to gain patients’ insights into adult ADHD. The purpose of the research includes understanding attitudes and beliefs around adult ADHD, confidence in diagnosis and management of adult ADHD, and the patient journey.
The study involves a Face to Face interview (audio recorded) lasting 60 minutes with
a qualified interviewer at a time and location convenient to you by Thursday 26th
July 2012 in Manchester.
We are particularly interested in your views on this subject, and stress that any personal data collected during the interview will be treated confidentially. All responses remain anonymous and you have the right to withdraw at any stage of the research.
Please, be aware that these interviews will be audio recorded for analysis purposes only
You would receive £25.00 in the form of cash for your involvement in the study.
We are members of and adhere to MRS, BHBIA and the ESOMAR guidelines, which are also in-line with the Data Protection Act 1998. Any information gathered as a result of the interview will be used for research purposes only and may not be used for any other purpose. The guidelines clearly state that there can be no attempt to "sell" within an exercise that has been presented as market research. In addition to this, all information given will be in complete confidence and names will not be revealed to any other party. We are now being asked to pass on to our client details of adverse events that are mentioned during the course of market research interviews. Should you raise an adverse event during the discussion we will need to report this even if it has already been reported to the company or regulatory authorities using the MHRA’s ‘Yellow card’ system. In such a situation you will be asked whether or not you are willing to waive the confidentiality given to you using the market research codes of conduct specifically in relation to that adverse event. Everything else you say during the course of the interview will continue to remain confidential, and you will still have the option to remain anonymous if you so wish.
If you have any questions or would like further information on the study, please, don’t hesitate to contact
