Jack of all trades, master of non!
Does anyone recognise this as a ADHD trait?
Ive always tried to have a go at everything but there is nothing I would consider myself an expert?
I had some Psychometric testing through the careers service a while back. In the report they suggest 20-30 jobs which would suit my personality type, I was amused to discover that I'd allready done most, 60-70%.
Does this ring a bell with anyone?

Oh yes. I did the same test with the psycologist at the local job centre and it turned out my perfect job was the same job i'd just been sacked from! Im the same as you. Just cant stay on one path!

Totally. It's why I get paid so much - I know just enough about a lot of stuff. Being adaptable, curious, and up for new things are some of our strengths.

Yep - I seem to be able to do most things a bit, but nothing very well. It's as if I think 'yep, I could do that if I wanted!' - and move swiftly on to the next challenge! Am convinced I've never really grown up - and probably never will! :/

Never really growing up is maybe another trait Some papers I've read suggests that the bit of the brain which 'causes' ADHD develops a third slower in ADHDer's.

Yep, sounds like me. I could do absolutely anything I really set my mind to, except set my mind to something.
It's something that really, fundamentally, existentially narks me off about myself. I have never aimed for something and finished it.
