Can anyone recommend a good book involving the subject of ADHD? Ive not tried any self help books yet and not sure that I need that type of book right now. Something fairly light like a novel would be best. The Psychopath Test by Jon Ronson was my last good read (not aboiut ADHD but it mentions it). Any suggestions?

"Attention Deficit Disorder: The Unfocused Mind in Children and Adults" by Thomas E Brown is a pretty good read If you want information on ADHD in a fairly novelish way. Its more up to date than many of the other books out there as well as far as I can tell. I would defiantly recommend it .

Would be cool if there was something like "The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-time" for adhd.

I imagine there are thousands of novels about ADHD, all of them trailing off half way through chapter 1 though....

I've just finished 'The Catcher in the Rye' It doesn't directly mention ADHD, but I could certainly see a lot of similarities between the main character and the ADHD-bit of myself!!! It's short and a relatively easy read, so I found it ideal

The first book about ADHD which I read was "Driven to Distraction" by Edward Hallowell and John Ratey. A lot of it consists of case studies of people with ADHD, which are easy to read, being narrative in form - you could read those and skip over the more hard-fact parts until you felt like going back to them.
