It's nearly midnight and I'm watching Robin Hood Price of Thieves!
I did nothing all day, again. My car has been given the last rights. My bank keeps calling. I have an unopened letter from the police. I have an unopened letter from the courts. I have spent the last year doing a MSc. Missed most of the lectures, handed in 20% of the coursework and not started my project. I have had no contact with the University in 2 months. I have a mediation session with my son's mother on thursday. The last one before an almost inevitable court date. Tomorrow is my first day on 72Mg Concerta. I'm miserable and hideously lonely.
I'm in limbo and cant break out.

On a positive note, you can always turn the channel over I wish I knew what to say. I hope the Concerta perks you up a bit, and gives you some optimism. Good luck on Thursday. John

Life can be a Bitch and we all have Dark Times even more so with this gift of adhd.. I know it's easier said than done but you CAN change your feelings in a instant.. Think of your son as a baby ( did it make you smile?? Inside?? Think of things that's make you happy it's all about Positive even when everything you see / feel is Negative Thoughts become things?? You being negative is bringing more negative responses to you.. Start imagining GOOD stuff coming your way !!! Be ridiculously optimistic see cheques coming in the post!!! See new people entering your life.. See a job.., see a car.... See all the stuff you really want imagine it's real imagine it's on it's way to you ...and I Tell you what it's good fun even if it changed your mood for a while by doing it the more you do it the more Positivity you'll develope and hey who knows Those Dreams & Wishes are out there for you just waiting but your negativity keeps them from reaching you.., just try it xxxx yep I know I sound crazy!!! I'm off meds just now lol xxx

Hey,
Your not on your own buddy! I get you and so will many others! Today is a new day! a) Do the uni know about your ADHD? If not tell them!! Your one year Msc may just have to be a 2 year Msc (that's if you still want to do it)? b) Get a pal to come over and open them letters! I get my daughter to open mine and read them in her bedroom before I get the 'modified' version of the letter (not so stressful). c) Court date regarding your child...that can be a new beginning! If its over access etc they set things in stone so you at least know where you are with it all...mediation is a GOOD thing...worry not perhaps on the day yoiu'll see thing totally different! d) First day on 72 concerta...u be reet...at least u'll be able to watch more shit films and actually concentrate on them LOL e) Hey...lonely is with us all at times...it comes and goes...imagine having 5 mates in ur house all chatting at once...some how lonely aint too bad!! :-) BET u all me money...(like I have any all gone on online bingo...shhhhhhh) you don't feel the same in 1.6 days. xx

My son is the only thing that matters. Any joy he gives me is tempered by guilt and anger at my inaction. I should have taken my ex to court years ago.
Apart from my Mental Health mentor, Uni doesn't know. I was diagnosed after the end of term and 2 weeks before the autumn resist, which I missed. I cant afford to do another year!
I hate burdening my friend, life is hard enough with me adding to their worries.
I did spend 4 hours writing 2 letters to my solicitor and my mediator. Something anyway. Attempted to watch 'Woman in Black', gave up after 15 min.
The meds are odd. I'm not really sure what to expect. I'm not anything! Shouldn't they do something?? I would like to give some to someone I know and analyse the reaction, comparing mine (not something I'm considering doing!). These are relatively strong stimulants! Something, anything!
