Does anyone know of any similar forums for parents of teens with adhd. The only support groups I have managed to find in my local area are held during the day (when I'm at work) and tend to be more about small adhd boys! I would really benefit from sharing experiences with others in similar position is the assumption that parents of adhd dont have a job!! I might have to set my own group up.........
Any suggestions? Any helpful websites for this? (other than this one of course!)

Hi busybeee
Support group for parents do tend to focus more on younger children. Both of my children were dx in their teens and I was desperate to meet parents who were going through a similar experience!!
Perhaps if you wrote to your local CAMHS the psychiatrist there might be able to tell you how many teenagers there are on his caseload. With their help and support perhaps you could set up your own support group. The teenage years can be difficult for parents but being a parent to a teenager with adhd is particularly challenging!!!!
Good luck
