"World War Z: An oral History of the Zombie War" is pretty much the definitive zombie apocalypse novel

Would love to hear more about zombie appocalypse survival techniques. I only recently found out that they can walk underwater, so my plan of getting a boat is in the drink. As far as I am aware so far, best tool kit so far is cigarettes and booze, lighter, flame thrower, ham radio, and of course the trusty flymow strapped to your chest. I really enjoyed Anne Rice's Blood and Gold, if anyone likes vampires? That one is a stonker.
