Hi. Have been boxing books today and came across a psychiatry manual written in 1994, which has diagnostic criteria and info about adhd. Was surprised to see the criteria are identical to those used now and it also states that it is believed 20 percent of children continue to experience adhd in adulthood. The book was written in usa, but was surprising to see that was the understanding nearly 20 years ago. is uk just slower to catch on, does anyone know?

Nope - throwing books in boxes, although having punch up with them could be fun! I seem to collect books then can't get rid of them, just in case are ever useful. Seem to remember bought this one in a cheap book shop, cos seemed like a good idea at the time! also came across books today on dietetics, pharmacology, genetics and microbiology along with a medical dictionary - and i do none of those things. How cute would a black squirrel be - I want one!
