Just been for a walk. As soon as I hit the outside world it felt as though I was walking through a haze and nothing around me seemed real. This happens to me from time to time. Things around me don't look or sound normal or clear.
Does anyone else ever get this feeling (being stoned doesn't count)?

Yeah,i get that sometimes. It feels a bit like i'm just a spectator passing through some surreal environment that i don't belong in.

I used to get the feeling (pre-meds) that I was watching TV and someone else had the remote control. Now on meds (Concerta) I sometimes feel like I have the remote but I'm still just watching.

After my Dad died I got this 'sense of unreality' a lot but I understand this is one of the many characteristics of bereavement ? I've always been best able to describe it as being Marty McFly as he walks into Hill Valley town centre in 1955, everything looks so real but he can't believe any of it at first and whilst he knows he needs to get back to his reality in 1985, he's stuck! Really most unpleasant time of my life - I do still occasionally get it, that eveything is real to touch but doesn't actually feel real ?

When I was younger I used to go into 'tunnel' mode where it looked like I was looking at the world through a telescope but the wrong way round and the sound used to get really muffled as well. Usually when I was being told off for something
