Hello hello hello
I was here oooh, best part of a year ago? Umming and aahing about actually going to the Psych's office - well, I did end up going to a Doc in Harley Street and walking out with a big resounding 'yes' (after he completed some of the questions for me, when I zoned out in the bloody consultation), and a script for Dex. And a huge terrifying freak out. I ended up being convinced that he wasn't paying attention and just wanted to drag me into in clinic (probably a bit harsh), also I felt he was slightly unprofessional (not exactly a polished bloke), so I didn't take them. And then I lost the script. And then it was over a month later and it didn't matter!
Fast forward to April of this year, I've *bollocksed* my MSc; I decided to put my health first and foremost and ended up going to my GP and demanding she help out. So, after a really short wait, I ended up in a Central London Hospital going through exactly the same questions plus a few more and having a much more comfortable conversation with a doctor who really knew what he was talking about. And walking out with another diagnosis and a script of Concerta XL.
This was in May, and I managed to collect at the beginning of June, with a follow up appointment for mid-July. And I will *totally* get around to starting my meds very soon... maybe after the Hackney half-marathon tomorrow?
At which point... I will most definitely check in.

Nice, I've had generally good results with Concerta. I'm looking forward to hearing your results.

Waiting for an ECG and blood tests to start Concerta... Let you know if it all goes well and I've been able to take them for a couple of weeks
