I'm on my 3rd week of 18mg Concerta. Anyone reading my thread about coming off citalopram will know I've been having probs with withdrawal symptoms. I expect I should have taken a medication break between drugs bit couldn't wait to try them. Most of my original symptoms have lessened but I have hardly eaten anything during these weeks as I feel so sick all the time. I'm not sure if it's the concerta or withdrawal. Anyone???

Anyone on concerta got a sensation of feeling lightheaded and weak as if you might pass out?
Edit - going to move this to new thread in hope of getting replies

I think it's quite common to have nausea when starting on Concerta. I know I did! My appetite was reduced for a while, but by now (7 months on) it's all back to normal.
I also have felt light headed and like I was going to pass out. My heart was being very quickly (so fast it alarmed a nurse at work) and I was ordered to sit down and have a glass of squash..
This has only happened on one occasion, just after I started taking it. Though I suppose I might have just been lucky!
Hopefully it will all have settled down for you in another couple of weeks, but don't just ignore it if you get really worried.

Thanks Bee The dizziness has been constant for a few weeks which means I can't do much that involves standing or moving around (what a waste of Concerta)and I have so much to do but all I can do is look at it. My BP and pulse are in the normal range. Anyone else?
I expect that since no-one has replied with similar probs, it must be down to Citalopram withdrawal.

I suspect it is a bit of both.
Concerta made me loose appetite.
