It is very sad and so frustrating watching your child struggle and yet feel helpless to intervene. Do you feel your son may have adhd and if so do you think he would be interested in seeking help?

Hallo annie thank for your reply. My son was an extremely challenging child, expelled again and agin from school, early drug use, self harm, and varied troubles over many years. Rollercoaster. It was obvious from about 2 that his energy was exceptional. Just this year at 36, as he has started back innto and educational institute after 23 odd years to do a day a week. his tutor suggested to him that he was typical of adhd, which sprung out of difficulty structuring work etc. I was relieved to hear this as it had been always evident that there ws some deeper problem that had not been identified, beyond addiction etc, and other 'labels'. reading about adhd has made things a bit easier insidee MY head,
