So, what's the deal? I don't get it and can't seem to find a definitive answer to the problem of drinking coffee whilst on MPH?
In what way does it affect meds?
I have learnt that I can no longer drink alcohol - not even one glass of wine with a meal, but I don't notice anything when I drink caffeinated coffee. I don't want to be inadvertently self sabotaging!

If i mix coffee and methylphenidate i get the same effect as if i'd taken too much methylphenidate...jittery,anxious,nervous,etc.
Adding stimulant upon stimulant

Ahh, I see. Having said that, I think I need a bomb to go along with my mph to shift me at the moment.
Do bombs and methylphenidate work well together?

I dont think there is any.definate answer, It depends what suit individuals surelt? When I took ritilin I cdnt drink coffee.but alcohol never bothered me, so everyones different that way.
A bomb wd suit me well right.now too, managed to drag myself to boot camp, but came home to screaming kids so ate two snickers (cause that made sence). Now my.back is killing me and none of us are wearing clothes yet.....

I was already drinking huge amounts of coffee at the time I started MPH and I found it hard to quit. Once I was up to 20mg pills I found that I suffered shortness of breath when I continued drinking coffee so I switched to mostly decaff. A month on, I find that I no longer fancy coffee very often (I've just had my first cup in a week, and that was mainly because I felt cold, coming in from the garden this morning). I don't find that the occasional cup is a problem, but I am only talking instant caffeinated here.
