You might have to be a bit more specific as to which paragraphs u are referring to as I would have no idea what you would class as long? Lovely ADHD trait, if it's wrong I probably did it

Its far too much to ask as far as im concerned, my.continuous blurb comes out as it dies, sntines paragraphs, sntimes not, between.adhd, disgraphia snd the pain in my joints when typing im going with what suits me. And I dont feel on an online support forum I shd need to moderate/manage this the way I do for other areas if life. This shd be a safe place to jst be me, rather than manipulate my rwsponse. If you have enough impulse control to edit/slow down enoufh to use paras gd for you, but not everyobe will be the sane.
If its difficult to read then.dont read it, I wdnt judge anyobe for.not reading or respinding if they find that tough. I understand it can be hard to read, I find continous capitals hard to read, so I dont read them, no biggy. But pls understand it is alot to ask.

If I see a bock of text as big as this box (the post entry box) I simply don't read it. I just... can't

I can't read blocks of text that are too long either. There's a balance between being able to be yourself here and so not being restricted, but also contributing towards as well as receiving on line support - which can only happen if others can read what's written. . blaze in particular, I'm generally drawn to read your posts - we all have our preferences and I tend to find your views especially interesting / insightful - so I find it a shame when I can't get through them sometimes. I think we're all pretty much the same, as in when we write, we keep on and don't stop while we're on that wave. But, for me, all that's needed afterwards is to go back and insert a line of breath every so often - even if a paragraph is random and in the wrong space, having a break in a block of text helps even with keeping on the right line as I'm reading.

I'm for paragraphs of three lines or less - there's not much thinking to keep on track in top, middle or bottom line. As a rep for the site would eg blaze be fussed if we went in with the edit and split posts into smaller chunks? I'm not talking about smashing the original but making a copy and amending it into another colour/font and clearly labelling it as edited by adminPersonally I can't see the point of going to the bother of writing something that others can't read - it might as well be written in Russian. Posts may be written in a hurry - but the writer can go back to edit it at their leisure. I'm always doing that to mine because I hate typos.

yes I wd mind, I find it much harder to concentrate on shorter paras when reading (especiapy if its a long post) and I avoid starting to read plenty because of this. If you automaticly edit what I write then if smobe replys and I have to reread what I wrote that makes it harder. Obviously pkenty of people can read what iv written because they reply fine, so sayibg no one can read it is hyperbole. occassionaly smbodys reposted what iv written with theor own added paras which is fibe, I cab still reread my own and they can read the one they edit. Its also unrealistic to imply I can return and edit, my attension span is not able to do so, and my.pain and coordination problems mean I wd make further mistakes. If you can great, but dont apply that to others. If I thought by that loggic id be claiming everyone here shd be successful in work, friendships, relationships etc, when many with adhd struggle a greT deal in those areas. Jst because iv made a success of those and found ways to manage my adhd that apply there doesnt mean id assume everyone can. If I can para edit as I go along I do, if I cant I cant, I make no judgement on anyone hit reading for that reason, clearly plenty can and have. Claiming that its not much to ask like pp did is smthing that people need to apply to themselves, no one is aware of how and where oyr disability effects other so its nieve to assume that its not too much to ask. uote author="@planetdave" source="/post/86177/thread" timestamp="1421591254"]I'm for paragraphs of three lines or less - there's not much thinking to keep on track in top, middle or bottom line. Hyperbole?
Nope - if you paraphrase my words you get to a different meaning.

And I can read most posts!
Others may not - I'm careful never to say anything universal (eg everyone) because the exception will bite you in the bum PDQ.
