...... have a history of missing their mouth when drinking?
Or is it just me? Or is it an ADHD thing?

Yes!
I think cans and bottles are the worst though.
Decided to glug the last of a can of RedBull in a pub once. I pretty much just threw it at my chin.
Not a good look!

I'm ALWAYS saying "oops, i missed my mouth" - particularly with drinks, but also with food...
i've begun to wonder whether perhaps it's less about clumsiness and more that i get distracted while eating...?

I was fiddling with a whole glass of red wine on the table, in the restaurant last weekend and knocked it over in that 'oh no, fumble, fumble can I stop this from landing all over everyone kind of fashion, that just resulted in drawing everyone's attention' does that count for missing my mouth??

I regularly forget myself and throw coffee at my face in a 'let's get this drunk quickly' moment. Just as well my coffee's always cold by the time I remember to drink it. I've done the same with a cap of mouthwash. Slept through my alarms and woke up with 7 minutes to get to the gp surgery around the corner. Threw a cap of mouthwash at my mouth. Didn't have time to put socks on, couldn't find a bra and hadn't brushed my hair... but I got there dead on 8.30 and fairly refreshed with a tingling face. I don't know if its an adhd thing... for me it just feels like brain forgot to engage.

Yes! All the time... or forget to take the top off and try to drink from a bottle with the top still on.
