Hi everyone, I used to really struggle to get to sleep at night, I still do, but even more difficult when I used to use my laptop just before I would try to sleep. I found a really good program that alters the hue of your laptop/computer monitor so your brain recognizes that it is night time and makes your eyes more able to relax. It's completely free so if you'd like to try it here is the link: justgetflux.com/This probably sounds really spammy/advertising but really I just find it helpful for myself and think some of you might benefit from it too.

That is interesting. I have similar problem with my smartphone.
I tend to keep in on charge by the bed but find I keep picking it up, reading one of a few websites (eg this one!) then put it down. Have tried putting it on charge in spare room so I cant do this but then feel a bit lost without it! Sometimes I get up for a few minutes and type a few notes on the laptop. This might go against the wisdom of not using a screen at night - maybe @taedaeds suggestion will help. Sometimes the notes arent very coherent. I have learnt not to send email in the middle of the night - I usually regret it!
