Hi there people,
I've been trying to turn all the time I spend on ADHD into something useful, so I've drafted up a short book called Success with Adult ADD & Adult ADHD (I want to keep the tone positive, even if I sometimes feel like I'm flaying through life!) I'm still researching it.
The question I have is, if you could give someone with your symptoms one useful piece of advice, what would it be? Also, what should be in the book in general, advise wise?
Keen to get some more feedback, any help appreciated.
PS: If I can get it finished I will post a link to it here. That's a big if, but it's important to have goals.

Well... tell us about yourself first!
You mention you've spent a lot of time on ADHD. Is that because you've been diagnosed with it? Or because you're a student or researcher?

"I've been trying to turn all the time I spend on ADHD into something useful, "
I guess you have ADHD and like me are trying to figure the coping puzzle out. That's a lot of research and a lot of time to spend on oneself
when people around often complain about things not getting done. I get it - I feel exactly the same. Wouldn't it be great if all this research
stuff could also help others.
My extensive research has brought me to a realisation that although ADHD is an absolute pain to live with, there is a massive lesson to be
learnt for all of humanity. In short, our crazy neural patterns are a really important component of survival.
I would advise that it is important for every day life to keep exercising those coping mechanisms which work for you. At the same time it is
important to realise that your brain patterns are part of life beyond the context of our current society. We are part of a bigger picture
to which ordinary folks are currently blind. Only time will tell.
