I have not been diagnosed as of yet but have all the traits and have been referred for assessment but here is my experience.
In the mid 2000's I worked a lot in London and long hours at that. I found internet dating a great way to meet new people etc. (Note the etc. Haha).
I used to find a lot of the time I would really like someone fairly quickly then get bored really easily and end up saying, "I don't want a relationship." I have always found that I get interested in lots of things early on and go headlong into things then just end up dropping these very same things.

I think you'll find that 'all or nothing' mentality to be a fairly consistent thread amongst us ADHDers. That being said. I've been with my wife for 13 years and married for nearly 10. That's not to say that it's been plain sailing. Indeed there have been many occasions where my levels of 'interest' have plummeted massively.
Over the years however, I've come to realise that my marriage is one of the few (if not the only) things that I've been able to stick with. As time goes by, that thought has become a lot more concrete and has helped us both. She's the anchor of consistency that I'm happily moored to.
