1. SORT my sleeping patterns out AGAIN. This is possible and has been done before quite successfully.
2. DONT overthink about spelling, grammar and punctuation - I've dealt with this issue now. It's over!

Sleep.. From I started on 18mg of concerta I have been getting the best sleep in about, 20 years! 7 hours & half hours in a night only a teenager would sleep like that! There's 1 new year resolution a year but there's 12 new monthly resolutions lol lol If plan A doesn't work there is always plan b, c, d, e. An opportunity to reset and start again. Lol my new monthly revolution is to clean up my diet. I got really depressed in July. I went to 60mg of Strattera and the mood went the other way. Spent a lot of my time eating and sleeping. 18mg of concerta xl haven't seen any great change in my concentration compared to the Strattera. But love the jitters and the giddiness you g about an 1hr and a half after taking it lol. Has not had an impact on my appetite but I'm not exactly trying to avoid certain foods. Maybe if I was to avoid the chocolate and crisps and fancy coffees it would help! Maybe when I move up in dosage it will take affect.. Comparison to strattera I lost about a half a stone in two weeks. With just eating 3 meals a day. 1. SORT my sleeping patterns out AGAIN. This is possible and has been done before quite successfully. 2. DONT overthink about spelling, grammar and punctuation - I've dealt with this issue now. It's over!

Yes, it's to keep resetting to good sleeping patterns, healthy eating and exercise. They really are the foundation to everything else. If one of those is wrong other things start to collapse. It's like the trinity of stability. I've lost the plot with each of them atm, and I know I'm not going to move forward until I get them sorted. It's just easier said than done especially when other problems are interfering.

resolution: get more & earlier sleep
method: stop working by 6pm, structured evening, get to bed by 10pm
problem: without good sleep i find it harder to wake up, i'm in more pain & find it harder to function. focus, concnetration, memory, productivity, ability, contentment are all down; anxiety, distractability, pain, irritability, negativity are all up.
motivation: i Know it works, and i Know i feel really good when i can do it. i think i've done it about 10 times in the last year, mostly isolated days including this Monday. sometimes only when i've got to the point of exhaustion, other times when i'm in a good place (eg holiday).
i need all of me to be functioning as well as possible. i have a huge amount on and am anxious about a series of deadlines/events over the next six weeks, but particularly the next week!
after more than 3 years' work, this is fab. and my reputation is really on the line Big Time - not just what i do, but how i do it. feeling like a snail that's lost its shell - very exposed!!! ergo focus, energy, pacing sleep are key.

petra i came across a series of radio programmes on How To Have A Better Brain, including this one on sleep. there are 5 x 15 min programmes, so i found it fairly straightforward to concentrate while pottering around doing chores... great mixture of easy-to-follow science and practical, evidence-based tips & strategies i'd recommend them
