So i am watching jerico, allways find these end of the world type programs/films relatively calming for some strangereason. And its got me thinking
If we had to go back to basics would we surive? Would adhd be a help or a hinderance? (Sticking with purely hypothetical- dont worry about lack of meds/less prem babies surviving = lower rate of adhd etc)
i really don't know why i find it so appealing.... i suck with techniqual things, could fix anything, build from scratch etc. But i am exceptionally good in a crisis, i am great at staying calm when others cant (although generally this takes it toll later on). I am adaptable, practical, resourceful, think on my feet. Not including my physical disabilities i could ride horses again, exceptionally talented there (or atleast i was) i guess due to my instinctiveness (if thats a word). And i can cook well with a good sense of taste so could make decent meals out of random ingredients. But tbh i cant think of many things i would be great at under these circumstances. I guess off meds i could relactate & feed orfaned babies but thats really stretching it..... i think i would probably die out, thank fk my oh is practical. But still somehow the back to basics through no choice (like id ever give up netflix willingly...) somehow appeals.
so anyone else? If its some end of the world as we know it type senario would your adhd be an assest or a burden? Would you sink or swim?

I'm not sure! My anxiety would probably get me before anything else did!
On adhd alone I can sometimes have some pretty good ideas, but I'll be honest I think overall I'd be a goner..

It probably would for me too, but sometimes i wounder if it may atleast provide a concrete reason for hyper alterness, and might be more akin to my natural state.....
anyways, prob silly thing to be thinking about with current climate it mind, i just cant help woundering why these types of films/programs draws it my attension in a way others cant
