Love the sugar cycle illustration planetdave Personally I have always had massive problems with sleeping. So I try to avoid messing with things that are stimulants, ever. Coffee just interferes with your sleep cycles for 24-48 hours to perpetuate its addiction. Dont get me wrong, I love e-numbers, sugar, ginko, ginseng, caffeine, theobromine -if i could live off chocolate without my teeth falling out, i surely would. Oh chocolate......
It takes me ages to come off caffeinne, too bigal. I have zero energy and am confused for ages
Although, I have been up to a 12 cups and 12 bars of chocolate a day man at one point tho working 12 hour night shifts. Always taper off thats my advice
Coming off nicotine is easy, if you supplement it with fruit breaks instead, but why is the whole world such an unreasonable c*nt on around day 3-5. Do they know or something?!?!
I find that when I practice mindfulness, meditation, or biofeedback regularly my dopamine levels etc etc balance out on their own, it totally drops my ADD levels too, but at the mo it is really hard to keep the practice regular
I dont want to be addicted to anything that isn't freely available as part of me. I carry my biofeedback unit around with me now and have been practicing all year, and can use it in the park, on the trains, busses, sat in the car. Even in meetings. Now that my practice is getting easier, I can just about meditate walking and standing, I can make good use of all sorts of occasions
