CHASE UP MAUDSLEY FOR 3RD APPOINTMENT (they said it would take 4 months....that was in August) 2. chase up psych at CAHMS to make sure he has made the referral of naughty daught to Dr Stringaris at Maudsley, who has agreed to see her 3. Take Xmas pressie cardboard to tip4. Go and pick up clothes that have been altered by Lena5. PAY council tax!6. Get naughty daught to write letter/email her cousin 7. Send thank you card to mum and dad's friends for their Christmas present8. Find man 9. Actually, one has contacted me on a dating site.....looks good....so fix some possible babysitting dates with mum and book a date with him booked for Wednesday 15th January!!! Yikes!10. Go along to Central London Support Group this Tues or maybe next month? Yes, February, most definitely, assuredly......100%......and make contrarymary come too!

je vais y venir! i was actually sick yesterday - lay down with a migraine at 2.30pm yesterday and woke up at 6 am today. beginning to wonder if it is a virus that started with a headache, as today i have a temperature... anyway, i will be there next month if it's the only thing i do all week!!

I'm trying to only think about one thing at a time, otherwise I can't cope. At the moment I've got enough trugs and rubble sacks to keep me busy digging plants out ready to transfer. No thinking needed for that. The boxes I've ordered will hopefully arrive on Weds and then all I need to think is, 'Can I see it? Will I need it in the next 6 weeks? No? Put it in the box.' If I can do one room a week, I've cracked it. Anything else that needs to be thought about has been suppressed (and, yes, that includes informing everyone of my change of address (la la la la, I can't hear you, nasty, nagging thought).

- meditation x 1 hr - get up, make coffee, tidy round, wash up, put sheets & pillow cases on to wash - wash, teeth, dress - feed birds - X yoga x 1 hr (not well enough) - remember to eat breakfast - ditto lunch - ditto supper - X write for 4 x 30 mins - anything to get going, brainstorming, focus, edit - X reward self for writing x 2 (unless you count the chocolate tart... and painting my toenails...?) - think through & prep for tomorrow - clothes, normal stuff, meeting papers etc - shower & hairwash - file nails before cut myself for 4th time with broken ones - relax - early night/early alarm
fold laundry that's already dried & put away print out stuff for writing meeting on tuesday research travel for meeting tuesday

Kathymel funnily enough i didn't used to think about tomorrow at all either (or even later today tbh) except rarely at the last minute the day before..... it's only through having some complete disasters that i have learned to plan somewhat a little SOMETIMES when it involves going out to an appointment or some other outing which involves someone else as well external accountability with consequences. i think perhaps i've set off on the path of becoming one of those adhders who finds a way of passing as normal but it means spending all my energy trying to be organised look less disorganised look at today - i woke at 6.30 am, watched some ridiculous programme on i-player, slept from 7.30-8.30 then hung out fiddling around online until 1130, then wrote my To Do List then tried to get it all done. I am exceptionally chilled, have eaten well, have a tidy house & i'm all organised for tomorrow but have done NO writing at all. which was supposed to be the main bit of my day. but i feel so chilled after my 90 mins meditation (i didn't feel well enough for yoga as still cooking weird virus & sodium saturation ) that i have spent the day wondering if i'm cured and therefore have nothing to write about.

Thanks for that, contrarymary! good thing i did get ready the day before - somehow my "wake up gently, get going after half an hour, do meditation & yoga for an hour" turned into get up ten minutes before you absolutely must leave the house!
